Thomas Kokken is a consultant in the Finance & Valuation Team at Oxera, working from the Amsterdam office.

Thomas specialises in economic and financial modelling in the context of state aid matters. He has undertaken various assessments of the market economy operated principle (MEOP) and assessments of the compatibility of aid. Thomas has advised beneficiaries, complainants and members states throughout the EU as well as the UK on a range of state aid related matters.

Before joining Oxera in 2020, Thomas completed his MPhil in Finance & Economics from the University of Cambridge and his MSc in International Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
