Barrister

Sattam Al-Mugheiry is a barrister qualified in England, Wales and Ireland who has worked extensively in subsidy Control both as a lawyer in the UK Government Legal Department and the European Commission as a Seconded National Expert case handler in DG COMP. Most recently he was the lead lawyer on subsidy control at the UK Permanent Representation to the EU and the UK Mission to the EU where he was part of the TCA negotiating team. He has provided training and advice extensively to lawyers and officials responsible for subsidy control both in governments and competition regulators.
