Natura is Head of the London Antitrust and Foreign Investment Group and heads the Linklaters State aid practice. She is qualified in England & Wales and Spain (Barcelona Bar) and has over 20 years of practising experience.
Natura advises on a wide range of competition and regulatory matters, including complex mergers (in the EU and UK) and a range of antitrust investigations. In addition to her mainstream competition work, she specialises in State aid and UK subsidies, public procurement and regulated sectors. Her State aid practice includes advising governments and aid beneficiaries in a number of EU Member States as well as advising government and aid beneficiaries on the first cases under the new UK subsidies regime. Some of her State aid and subsidies mandates include advising BAE Systems in relation to the European Commission’s investigation and subsequent appeal of the UK controlled foreign companies tax exemption, the Hungarian Government in relation to State aid for the Paks II nuclear power plant and the UK government regarding their nuclear electricity programme. She also advised clients regarding state aid during Covid-19 and a number of banks regarding the application of the State aid provisions in the Bank Recovery and Resolution Directive.
Natura has extensive experience advising clients in utility sectors (energy, airports, water and rail) and her broad practice area (covering competition law as well as mergers, state aid and public procurement) makes her a one stop shop for clients active in these sectors.
