Myele Rouxel is an international environmental lawyer committed to protecting the environment. In her current position at Artemisia Lawyers, she designs litigation strategies and proposes legal reforms to safeguard biodiversity at the French, EU and international levels. She has a dual background in international environmental law and French law: she holds a Master of Laws in International Environment and Climate Change Law from the University of Edinburgh and a Master of Laws in French law from Sciences Po Paris. She is completing the Paris bar professional training this year. Before joining Artemisia Lawyers, she conducted research on consumer information on animal welfare and was awarded the 2018 Anthony Mainguené Award on ethics for that work. She was also a legal researcher at various French law firms, notably Gide Loyrette Nouel.
