Linda Birziņa

Senior Expert of EU Funds Audit Department

Linda is senior expert with more than 5 year experience in EU funds Audit Department of the Ministry of Finance of Latvia. Her main field of expertise is audit of State Aid that includes conducting controls of projects with State Aid element and establishment of proper internal procedures. Experience has been broadened throughout several expert missions within TAIEX projects, seminars and participation in conferences.

She is expert in a part of Anti-fraud coordination service (AFCOS) network in Latvia, and her main responsibilities are communication and cooperation activities within the network as well as development and promotion of available IT tools for institutions.

She believes that continuous development and cooperation is a key element to provide effective administration of investments.
