Hanna Standtke joined the Directorate General for Competition after qualifying as a lawyer in Germany.
Her specialisation is European and German public law. In the European Commission, she is part of unit
F2, handling State aid cases and policy matters in the transport sector. Predominantly, she deals with
questions regarding airport-airline agreements as well as investment- and operating aid for airports. Recent
publications include an article outlining a modern perspective on the landmark EDF ruling in Milestones
in State Aid Case Law.
