Wolfgang Pointner

Head of Legal and Human Ressources, Bundesbeschaffung (BGG), Vienna

Wolfgang Pointner is responsible for the legal correctness of the implementation and supervision of procurement procedures on behalf of the Republic of Austria, Regional Contracting Authorities and Sectors and is a member of the anti-corruption emergency management of Bundesbeschaffung GmbH.

He regularly holds seminars on Public Procurement and Anti Corruption Strategies and is a trainer and expert for EU Public Procurement Excellence programmes PPE (2018-2019), PPE 2020 (2020-2021), PPE 2022 (2022-2023) as well as for the BBG Public Procurement Academy.

He was appointed as a lay judge at the Federal Administrative Court and rules on appeals against decisions by Contracting Authorities at national level on public procurement procedures.
