Ania Foszczynski

Ania Foszczynski has many years of work experience as a State aid case handler in the agriculture sector. She was a member of the drafting team for the 2014 State aid rules for agriculture, forestry and rural areas and in the recent review of those rules, she was responsible for drafting the impact assessment report. Ania was also co-author of the ‘Agriculture’ chapter in the 2008 edition of Mederer/Pesaresi/van Hoof’s book on State aid law. In 2010 and 2011, Ania was the political reporting officer for the Commission Representation in Vienna and prior to joining the Commission she worked in the corporate finance department of an Austrian investment bank. Ania is an economist by training and holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
