US-American born German lawyer with more than 35 years of experience in the field of risk management in large German corporations (among others: Siemens AG, Infineon AG, MAN Diesel & Turbo SE, Deutsche Post DHL Group) in various management positions in the GRC areas (“Governance, Risk and Compliance”), especially as Compliance Officer and for further operational risk management tasks such as the areas “Occupational Health & Safety” , “Security” “Insurance and Risk” and “Environmental Health & Safety” (ESH). The focus of his professional activities to date has been on the strategic orientation of risk and opportunity management programs, the associated change management and the operational establishment of management systems for implementation and controlling.

Currently active as Lecturer at the Law Faculty of the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU), Munich and Senior Expert of fors.earth GmbH a Munich-based consulting company specializing in the development of sustainability strategies.
