Stéphanie Nieuwbourg

ClientEarth

Stéphanie works as a lawyer at ClientEarth, an environmental law NGO, since October 2020. Her work focuses on aligning the EU State aid rules with the EU Green Deal and the climate goals.

Before joining ClientEarth, she was a commercial lawyer at an international law firm where she worked on litigation and regulatory matters, with a focus on the insurance and aviation sectors. Stéphanie also interned for the Commission’s DG Competition, in the team working on the recovery of State aid. She holds a Master of Law from the KULeuven and a Master of European law from Maastricht University
