Valentine Lemonnier

Valentine Lemonnier works with Kapellmann und Partner at the firm’s Brussels office. She is admitted to the German bar (RAK München) and to the Barreau de Bruxelles (EU-list). Her key areas of expertise are EU State aid law, notably concerning renewable energy and the transition in the energy sector, and general EU law, including regulatory issues. She also advises on questions of EU and German Competition law. She represents companies as well as federal, regional and local authorities primarily in proceedings of the European Commission and before the EU Courts.
Valentine Lemonnier studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (Germany). She holds an LL.M. degree in Competition Law and Economics from the Brussels School of Competition (Belgium). She is president and founding member of the Friends of the BSC a.s.b.l. (alumni association to the Brussels School of Competition). Further, she is a member of the German Women Lawyers Association and of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht.
